Update....

Looks like the swap is on I've agreed to meet about 40 miles from Belfast. Ive got someone to drive me with a people carrier, so its looking good to go! Just got to sort out a day next week.

In other news...

Just had a mail offering me some church pews and some other reclaimed timber. Its on a farm not too far from me, apparently he has other reclaimed/salvaged stuff too. I've been thinking about making a top from reclaimed timber for the table. I'm just wondering what other stuff he has as well. Sounds promising.

I really need a digital camera for the blog.

The big question is..... if I get the table and want to keep it,where do we go from there?

I have been after a farmhouse table for a while.

Guess what I have been offered? Only problem is its a 120 mile round trip to collect :(

It going to need a bit of work doing to it but I think could turn out a really nice table.

I just mailed the fella to see if he's ever up in Belfast. Fingers crossed.
