I have finished sanding table and started waxing it. Looks decent, but pics dont really show the shine.

Phew! just put table together after finishing stripping all the varnish off it.

Seems theres actually a nice table under it all, Will do a final sanding then on Sunday.

Spent today stripping the gunk and varnish off the top of the table. Just need to finish sanding it now, but I got to wait til sat to grab my sheet sander. Just wondering what route to take once im finished varnish or some kind of wax?

An afternoon with a stripper.

Just spent this afternoon stripping the legs of varnish ready for the table to be refurbed.

just need a final sand and cleaned with turps.

Noticed one leg has been chewed by a dog for that authentic farmhouse feel.

Right, off to Leftfield tonight!

Swap No.2 - Field telephones for Table!

David met me at the end of M1 services, having driven an hour himself from fivemiletown, He didnt seem to know quite what he was going to do with the field telephones but thought they were an unusual thing and I needed a table. Hope you enjoy them David.

So an 80 mile round trip later the table is home with me, I gave it a quick wipe there, I'm planning a bit of work on it, im not sure what yet, I'll blog what happens next.
